Pipe Lock PGS

The PGS is a locking device constructed from polycarbonate or polypropylene and applied to lockout pipes. It is specifically intended to protect coupling nuts of pipe connections to hinder their rotation and pipe separation, as well as the removal of gas meters and installation of bypass pipelines and bends with the intended gas stealing.

The pipe locking device PGS is composed of two half-round components with specific apertures for the sealing wire rope. The pipe lock PGS can be installed by connecting both segments on the coupling nut, putting the sealing wire rope into the special apertures on the PGS locking device outer edges, and installing a rotary or latch safety seal. It is recommended to place a security seal in a very close proximity to the PGS plastic locking device. The tamper-evident security seal and wire rope will hinder thieves from tampering, keeping the fact of possible extraction of the seal and the locking device from the coupling nut plainly apparent.

There are explicit indicators on the security seal when an effort is made to steal gas or water. This is convincing proof of an unauthorized intrusion maneuver and, indeed, break-in.
